| Welcome Blackwood Bowling Club offers pennant and social competition for the community. At present it has teams competing in pennants on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday during the summer months. Our ladies pennant team competes on Thursdays and is keen to hear from ladies interested in playing bowls. Novices or those with bowls experience are very welcome to join our friendly group of Thursday bowlers. This team although a competitive lot enjoy the social side of their team sport environment. Interested? call Peg Pickert on 8278 4251. During summer, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings social competition bowls (aka Night Owls) is very popular at Blackwood. Play on these nights commence at 7pm. This competition is open to the community.
